The Los Angeles coroner ruled Jackson’s death a homicide. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the only person the LAPD is focusing on in Michael Jackson’s homicide investigation is Dr. Conrad Murray.

Security was very tight at the private evening funeral at the historic Forest Lawn cemetery in Glendale, California, near Los Angeles.

Fans and reporters were kept away from the 200 guests, including actress Elizabeth Taylor, Motown Records founder Berry Gordy, musician Quincy Jones and Jackson’s ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley. The pallbearers were Jackson’s five brothers — Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy, who performed similar honors at a public memorial service in July, according to reuters.

The King of Pop’s family entourage was the last to arrive, showing up more than an hour later than scheduled in a convoy of 30 limousines and some members waving to a cheering crowd of more than 400 people. A few minutes later, a hearse drove through the cemetery accompanied by four police officers on motorcycles.

The lawyer for MJ’s doctor is criticizing authorities for withholding the full results of the singer’s autopsy.

Edward Chernoff, who represents Dr. Conrad Murray, says he’s at a loss as to why the Los Angeles County coroner’s office only released a brief summary of the results Friday, including that Jackson’s death was a homicide and the cause was the powerful anesthetic propofol and another sedative. (AP)

The Los Angeles County Coroner said in a statement that propofol and the sedative lorazepam were the primary drugs responsible for Jackson’s June 25 death at the age of 50. Other drugs found in the singer’s body were midazolam, diazepam, lidocaine and ephedrine.
