Kate Gosselin‘s first interview on The Today Show shocked by life’s a beach as Jon & Kate Gosselin remain apart, says Kate Gosselin.
Jon Gosselin has wasted no time getting back into the dating scene. The father of eight has been linked to three 20-something women over the summer, one of whom is the daughter of a family friend.
“It is hurtful. It’s very hurtful,” Gosselin told Meredith Vieira on “Today.” “To be very honest, the most hurtful part is when his decisions directly affect our children. That’s the hardest part for me.”
Kate, who has kept a relatively low profile at home with the kids while Jon has been photographed partying in the south of France and moving into his new bachelor pad in Manhattan, still wears her wedding ring. When asked why, she said it’s for her children.
“I don’t want to upset them,” she said. “While I’ve been very real and as honest as I need to be, I don’t want to shock them. I’ve walked slowly through this with them. As they’ve asked questions, I’ve answered them.”
She said she plans to remove the ring when the time is right.
After a whirlwind romance, “True Blood” co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are engaged!
The couple, who play lovers on HBO’s hit vampire show, went public with their offscreen romance in late February. “True Blood” gave the pair ample time to get close as Paquin’s telepathic bartender character, Sookie Stackhouse, fell for Moyer’s Bill Compton, a vampire.
At 27, Paquin is 12 years younger than her fiance. Moyer has two children from previous relationships.
Upon hearing the news of the engagement, a “True Blood” fan responded: “Wow. They better not break up and ruin my show!”
There’s trouble in paradise — already! — for Bachelorette Jillian Harris and her fiance, Ed Swiderski.
In a new cover story, Us Weekly claims that Ed slept with another woman in Chicago after proposing to Jillian on the season finale of “The
Bachelorette.” That same week, he allegedly tried to bed another woman he had been seeing before he met Jillian.
So much for his, um, bedroom issues.
Both women have come forward to warn Jillian that Ed is a two-timing cad. They say Ed was seeing both women during his time on the show and texted them love notes while wooing Jillian.
Jillian, meantime, has publicly dismissed the allegations, calling them a “bump in the road.”
Annie Barrett put it best when she pinpointed just how ironic Kate’s comments about her family were. But, putting that aside (if you could,) the episode picked up right where last week’s episodes left off, with a beach trip and a kitchen renovation. Don’t all get too excited at once!
With Jon at home helping with the installation of the cabinets (he claimed that it was “weird” waking up to an empty house and it was a “different change of pace), Kate and the eight were still down at the North Carolina shore. While last week focused on the obvious paparazzi presence, tonight’s episode (at the beginning, at least) went back to the kids just being kids. Kate treated her brood to bacon, saying they were “thrilled to death” for their once-a-year treat (well, yeah, it’s freakin’ bacon!)
